Newest Foursquare Badges Just Released
Foursquare has announced two new city badges this week and we are really excited about the newest foursquare badges. The geek in us got so excited that we immediately began to wonder if our next trip and vacation destination would have its own badge. Well, if not now, then it will soon, as Foursquare continues to expand the amount of cities that receive their own badges. This week, Madrid, Spain and Seattle, Washington have joined the city badge list.
The first city badge was Chicago (Windy City Badge), and then came London, Paris, Istanbul, Atlanta, New Orleans, Singapore, SA Paulo, Berlin and finally Tokyo.
Ever since the initial response to the first city badge, foursquare has been looking at other cities to expand into, depending on where people go on vacation, where foursquare communities are growing. Foursquare claims to have many more city’s that they are working on, so expect a steady trickle of city badges in the coming months.
